The Lewis-Clark Valley is not the Palouse
This matters when you are getting bids. Clarkston sits at the bottom of the Lewis-Clark Valley, around 750 feet, which makes it one of the lowest and warmest places in either state. Drive twenty-five miles up onto the Palouse toward Pullman and you gain well over a thousand feet of elevation and a completely different winter. Down here snow rarely sits for long and ice dams are far less of a problem than they are for our Pullman and Moscow customers.
