What a new roof costs in Wenatchee (2026)
Alpine Roofing publishes its pricing so you can check any bid against real numbers before anyone climbs a ladder. An asphalt shingle roof replacement runs $499 to $800 per roofing square (one square is 100 sq ft), which works out to roughly $9,000 to $22,000 for a typical 1,500 to 2,400 sq ft Wenatchee home. Every price includes tear-off of one shingle layer, haul-away and disposal, and a 10% material waste allowance. If we find rotten decking at tear-off it is replaced at $95 per 4×8 sheet, agreed with you before it goes on.

Built for both Wenatchee seasons
Wenatchee asks a roof to do two opposite jobs. Summers in the Columbia valley are genuinely hot and the sun is intense, so unshaded south and west slopes lose granules and go brittle. Then winter arrives with real snow and repeated freeze-thaw cycling, which pushes meltwater back up under the shingles at the eaves. Most roofing failures we see here start at one of those two extremes and finish at the other: a slope cooked brittle in August gives up at the first ice dam in January.
Terrain makes it more specific than that. Homes built up the slopes and benches above the valley floor, on the foothills toward Mission Ridge and out along the orchard terraces, sit more exposed to both sun and wind than houses down in town. We look at aspect and exposure before quoting rather than pricing every roof the same.
